It's time to revamp the system to ensure that it can be utilized in PvP. Combat is currently too powerful and too offensive for PvP. Perhaps adding defensive capabilities or reducing the damage caused by attack abilities at the very minimum when playing with other players, is an excellent move in the right direction. I'd listen to any suggestions from the players. Jagex has done this since the beginning, even though it may not be with 100% efficiency.
We have completed the first event in the world, and are now close to the halfway mark of the second. I think it's the perfect time to compare and choose which one you like best. The first was my favourite due to the fact that I could participate and it was brand new. However, it was nerfed. Here are some other reasons:
1. The loser doesn't die. Bandos will likely kill off various stories, like the one about cave goblins. Sure, the quests happen in the past, but why is it so important if he is just going to die? Zamorak was expelled in the very first quest. However, I believe Zamorak is still in Runescape with an ardent and loyal fan base. Zamorak is featured in Missing Presumed Death, which I believe will take place following the second world championship.
2. Central location. It is a disgraceful way to promote the Bird and the Beast event throughout the world of free play. It's harder to get a concept of what is happening when certain parts of the event take place across the globe. Lumbridge was the most easy to understand, but I struggled for hours with Bird and the Beast. Maybe I'm mentally slow and complex is beneficial to me, but simplicity is often overlooked in life.
