You and they draft a complete team of 13 players play for as much as 5 matches. You get greater rewards for the more wins you get 1-5. You get 2 losses before your record resets and you have to redraft a team. The draft works such as this. You first select a beginning position which is going to become your captain such as 2K mt central in which you've increased odds of getting players. You get a pg package Sg pack etc with 2K21 MT among these having increased odds (the captain) and after that a backup pg pack backup Sg pack etc with decreased odds. Then there's 3 packs at the end with players with decreased odds that play any place. Packs play that position however, it doesn't need to be their principal position. When you open the package you receive a choice between 3 players, and you may see the cards stats height from that page.
Is your multiplayer challenges. Instead of how it is right now I think it needs to be real nba games such as the 2011 nba finals where you get to select a team and you play a team together with the my team cards out of that group like what the computer gets to do in challenges. It is also possible to have teams which won my group tournaments, for instance you can play when they had that for 2K21, as the two teams that played in the championship of the 250000 my group championship. The pg for my rec team has had multiple 10+ slip matches on his min wingspan playmaking shot creator that has a sub 70 steal score. The NBA today is so much about ball movement, but most comp 5v5 matches wind up being 4 people standing in the 3 pt line while the pg isos. That way the only move is to a open person in the pg. The court dimensions don't allow for spacing.
This is possibly the most contentious one on the list, and I blame it partially on YouTubers and this"grinding" culture. Yes, they're grinding by enjoying a video game because that's how they make money. But the rest of us bought into this idea that a video game needs to be a grind instead of, idk, enjoyable? I have been called lazy for not wanted to badges. For not playing enough video games, LAZY? Grinding badges isn't fun for most players. I'd also argue that it's costing 2K cash because why purchase when you have to grind badges VC for a new construct? 2K should remove all the badges that are only attributes in disguise (which are the vast majority). Unpluckable, rebound chaser, rim protector, select pocket handles, catch and shoot, touch finisher, the list continues. Bring back attribute evaluations contested threes, like shooter mid, boxout, contact dunk, ect.
Add additional features to help differentiate builds so everyone doesn't feel similar. You should be able to have a complete and competitive construct without a single badge. Then just have a few badges your participant. By way of example, badges such as center crusher or slippery off ball are rarely used since you need badges to actually strike shots and play defense. But in case the characteristics do this the badges can be used as a fun luxury rather. Alot of Buy NBA 2K21 MT people that I played with last year ceased playing this year due to the badge grind of playing on precisely the same player, and they have tired. The men and women who enjoy grinding players may still grind complete and vc, but everyone shouldn't be forced to grind.
